Today was a truly special day at Aditya College of Allied Health Sciences, as we welcomed our newest students into the Aditya family through a vibrant and memorable Freshers’ Day celebration.
We were deeply honoured to have two distinguished healthcare professionals grace the occasion.
🌟 Dr. Rajesh S – Chief Guest
We were privileged to welcome our Chief guest for the day, Dr. Rajesh S, Managing Director and Senior Consultant Physician at Navachethana Hospital, Yelahanka, with over 15 years of experience in clinical medicine, academics and healthcare administration.
An alumnus of M.S. Ramaiah Medical College and Bangalore Medical College and Research Institute, Dr. Rajesh holds an MD in General Medicine and DNB in Internal Medicine. He has served as an Assistant Professor at Ramaiah Medical College and B.R. Ambedkar Medical College and has contributed to healthcare in both urban and rural settings.
His leadership of two dedicated COVID Care Centres and a COVID Hospital during the pandemic stands among his significant professional contributions.
We were equally honoured to welcome our Guest of honour Dr. V. Manjunath, Consultant in Urology and Andrology at Prakriya Hospitals, Bengaluru, with over 17 years of experience in specialised urological care.
Dr. Manjunath holds an MBBS, MS in General Surgery, M.Ch. in Urology from Kasturba Medical College, Manipal, and DNB in Urology. His expertise includes minimal access and robotic surgery, RIRS, male infertility and renal transplantation, complemented by specialised fellowships and training in advanced urological and transplant procedures.
His association with leading national and international urological organisations reflects his commitment to continuous learning and excellence.
Having both these accomplished clinicians with us was an inspiration to our students and a wonderful way to begin their professional journey.
Celebration of Our Students
The day continued with an energetic cultural programme featuring dance, music and vibrant student performances. Our freshers stepped onto the stage with confidence, while the enthusiastic participation of our seniors created a wonderful spirit of camaraderie.
The programme was a beautiful reflection of our students’ talent, creativity, teamwork and confidence, reminding us that education extends well beyond classrooms and laboratories.
My sincere appreciation to all the students, faculty coordinators, cultural committee, volunteers, anchors and technical team who worked together to make the celebration a success.
My heartfelt thanks to all our dignitaries, Principals, faculty members, staff and the management for their wholehearted support.
Above all, my deepest gratitude to our beloved Chairman Sir, whose endearing and infinite support has been the driving force behind so many of our initiatives.
Sir, your passion for Aditya, your belief in our students and your constant encouragement inspire us to dream bigger and create opportunities that go beyond conventional education. Your genuine desire to see the college grow and evolve gives the entire team the confidence to take initiative and strive for excellence.
Today’s Freshers’ Day was a reflection of that shared vision, passion and teamwork.
